I’ve had these created for a while, and am only sharing them now. Near-about 2010, my blogging went up north, not just because I was going crazy, but I found people who I loved talking to. Most bloggers will share this. It’s not an echo chamber, it is a community. We all need a sense of belonging somewhere, and I lucked out finding not one, but two fantastic girls and fellow bloggers who I connected with! I don’t necessarily follow all the rules of blogging, but I know what makes it fun, is the people and those who become friends!
Day 9: Yamini- Fellow Saggi Who Sends Me Postcards!
The best part about online relationships that go offline, is that they’re so by pure volition and no stress. Writing to Y provides me such mental ease that it’s hard to come by with some others that I may have known for years. I’d love to believe it’s because she’s a fellow Saggi, but I know it’s because she’s her, and a nomad, at heart. Flexible, locker (chill/open as Germans would call it) in thought which makes life very comforting. I don’t worry that she may judge, I know she’ll have a view that’ll make me smile! Well read people who run, tend to be so. I’m so glad I met her this winter, and I hope it happens soonly again :-). I’m immensely grateful that we met, on the blog naturally.
Day 10: Tanvi who’s above it all!
I love the fact that there have been so many times that we’ve shared views on people we dislike :D. It takes a girl to help you let out the steam. Being in the public eye is not easy for anyone. I still don’t fully feel comfortable sharing images (personal let alone videos) out in the public. And it amazes me how Tanvi does all that in such an unfazed manner- especially considering how much judgement can come your way online! Every time we’ve met there’s been a great connection! I email/DM her without feeling if I should/could. It’s almost like I can be myself without the need to put on an element of propah. I can be me. There have been days in the past years, where I’ve devoured her blogs and we’ve commented to and fro, totally driving me to be so much more creative! There’s no better time to say thank you :-).
On some days I feel lucky 🙂 and before I end, I am inclined to say this: the rules of blogging are varied. But those that last, include you having fun, and finding something tangible to remain excited!
